If you want to get tutting  and dissaproval from people in flat caps, this fairly worn-out victorian pub is the place. Dust and carpet stains abound, and bring a jumper, but provided your standards aren’t too high it’s a good little venue where you can get a real ale between acts. With a well proportioned upstairs room that hosted a number of gigs last year you can expect to go here sometime in the near future. Also the jukebox downstairs is connected to the internet or something; it has about a million songs, so drive out the locals with your favourite doom-sludge-drone band.
