The Maze is the room at the back of the Forest Tavern on the Mansfield Road. A popular venue, it’s good for intimate gigs; fairly small with a slightly raised “stage” area and a good bar. Bands sometimes struggle to gain attention from the chatty far half of the room. A core of established and emerging music talent is concentrated here within the walls of the ‘most’ eclectic music venue in Nottingham. They may be close to the cemetery but their music “is (a)live and kicking at the Maze.” Notice what they did there, pure genius!
