Situated by the Rescue Rooms/Stealth/Rock City complex, this scream pub is popular for pre-gig meeting and drinks. With fairly cheap alcohol and a large open space, you can almost ignore the stale smell and sticky floors. Not a bad place to watch the football, play a few games of pool, so it’s generally worth splashing out that extra pound for the yellow card.
Function room upstairs has seen some use for Highsoc events, and gets hired out for private parties, frequently by fairly lethargic metal fans. They’re friendly enough, but it’s really not worth upsetting them.
