The Rescue Rooms is the de facto hub of everything indie/alternative in Nottingham. The bar area is a great place for a relaxing drink and as a venue it plays host the best acts around. Artists of all shapes and sizes choose to play the main room. The Rescue Rooms also plays host to what is arguably the best indie club night in town, Rescued. And all this is without mentioning the multitude of other good reasons to visit, including the choice games such as chess and dominos readily available, the music magazine rack and a chef on hand pretty much around the clock to provide tasty well priced snacks, pizza and curly fries! Above the main room, the more intimate and newly refurbished Red Room hosts smaller more specialized club nights and gigs. In short: it’s essential; the staple of indie Nottingham.
