Drowned in Sound, Nottingham
The Nottingham chapter of that most conflicted music webzine has actively put on gigs for the last couple of years, getting involved with acts from far and wide (and local, and nearby) and hosting at venues dispersed around the city, including Junktion 7, The Social and The Rose of England. A variety of artists have played gigs for them, generally in the indie/shoegaze/hardcore sphere. Good examples would include iLiKETRAiNS, You Slut!, Computerman, Help She Can’t Swim, redcarsgofaster, Love Ends Disaster! and Sennen.
