Found just off Upper Parliament Street (the big one near to Victoria Centre), Backlash is a small and interesting little shop selling a nice range of clothing along with other interesting bits a bobs.
As you climb the stairs that lead to the shop, don’t be put off by the insistent ‘no caps’ sign. Although strictly enforced, (last year my friend was asked to take his off), the guy who runs the place is actually quite helpful and happy to help.
The best thing about Backlash is its ability to throw up something a bit different than the usual indie/vintage shop; granted there are the usual vintage tees, but look beyond the catchy slogans and hidden joys are there for the taking.
The second best thing about Backlash is the price, although not giving stuff away, i’ve never been in there and been gutted by a silly price tag.
