The Savoy sits proudly on the corner of Derby road and Lenton Boulevard. A traditional little cinema with a bar outside the 4 screens, it tends to show the big new releases, and the occasional one-off oldie on special occasions.
It’s hardly the trendiest place, but just 20 minutes walk from campus and £3.50 with a student ID, there aren’t any bad things to be said of it, really. Particularly popular with students in live in the Lenton area.
